Death of a Rattler
A large rattler was seen climbing the steps of the drugstore in Henry the other day. It begged to be killed as there was no room for a self-respecting rattlesnake anymore. The request was complied with.
Family Poisoned by Ptomaine
Burdette Boyes and his cousins, Mr. and Mrs. Olmstead, were poisoned by ptomaine in potatoes and the services of a physician was needed to keep up the heart action until they were relieved.
